The escalating conflict between the United States and Iran represents a significant threat to global economic growth, according to Odile Renaud-Basso, the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Speaking in an interview in Istanbul on Thursday, Renaud-Basso noted that while the fallout has been largely contained thus far, the ultimate impact will depend heavily on the duration of the hostilities.
