WALT DISNEY CO licensed a slate of movies and television shows to NETFLIX INC on Friday morning, bringing titles like Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the Ice Age franchise to the streaming platform. The agreement broadens Netflix's content library through licensing deals following a July agreement with AMC NETWORKS INC-A to stream The Walking Dead. The content sharing allows Disney to monetize older intellectual property while keeping its core branded titles exclusive to its own platforms.
