Didi Global has reported a significantly narrowed net loss for the fourth quarter, supported by a 10.5% increase in revenue as the company balances its domestic operations with an aggressive international expansion. The ride-hailing giant, which maintains a dominant market share in China, saw its financial performance improve despite the rising costs associated with scaling its services abroad.
For the three-month period ending December 31, the company posted a net loss of 300 million yuan ($43.48 million). This represents a substantial reduction from the 1.3 billion yuan loss recorded during the same quarter the previous year. Total revenue for the period climbed to 58.4 billion yuan, reflecting steady demand for its platform.
