Commercial Income Powers Top European Clubs
A new study reveals that commercial revenue now accounts for nearly half of earnings for Europe's wealthiest football clubs. While overall industry revenues have tripled, the financial gap between elite clubs and the rest continues to widen.

Commercial income generated 49% of operating revenue at Europe's 10 highest-earning football clubs in 2024/25, reaching 8.4 billion euros. This shift highlights a widening financial divide across European football despite overall industry expansion. Elite clubs have solidified their market dominance, leaving fewer openings for rival teams to break into the top tier.
