German apartment prices rose 0.3% year-on-year in the third quarter while single-family homes gained 0.4%, according to data released on Friday by the Germany Economic Institute (IW). The stagnation follows a broader cooling trend driven by elevated borrowing costs across the property sector. Property valuations remain down 10% from their 2022 peak, moving sideways since 2023.
