Top semiconductor executives in China have issued a call for a coordinated national strategy to develop advanced lithography systems, aiming to achieve technological self-reliance between 2026 and 2030. The proposal, co-authored by Zhao Jinrong, chairman of NAURA Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Liu Weiping, chairman of EMPYREAN TECHNOLOGY CO LTD-A, alongside Chen Nanxiang of Yangtze Memory Technologies Corp, urges the government to integrate breakthroughs across various research institutions.
