China renewed export licenses for more than 400 United States beef plants on Friday, restoring eligibility for 65% of previously registered facilities. The move follows a bilateral summit in Beijing where leaders addressed agricultural market access. The renewal ends a year-long lapse in permissions after exports fell from their $1.7 billion peak in 2022.
