The search for the next president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is expanding beyond regional boundaries as officials prioritize finding a candidate capable of representing the diverse economic landscape of the Southeast. Gregory Haile, chair of the Atlanta Fed board, indicated that while the search is national in scope, the successful candidate must demonstrate a deep commitment to understanding the local businesses and residents within the 6th District.
