Asian gasoline refining margins dropped to six-month lows as China issued surprise fuel export quotas. Rising inventories at major trade hubs and easing supply concerns contributed to the sharp decline across the region.

Asian gasoline refining margins fell to $11 per barrel over Brent Crude Oil on Friday, dropping by more than half from the previous session. The crack spread reached its lowest level since March, down from an October 1 peak of $50.53. The sharp decline follows a surprise fuel export quota issued by China and rising inventories at major trading hubs.
