American Airlines announced plans to install SpaceX Starlink internet across its entire mainline fleet of over one thousand aircraft starting next year. The roll-out now includes more than five hundred Boeing planes alongside previously planned Airbus jets.

American Airlines will equip its entire mainline fleet of over 1,030 aircraft with SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet starting next year. The expansion doubles the carrier's previous commitment announced in May to outfit more than 500 Airbus planes. The rollout now encompasses over 530 Boeing aircraft operated by the major United States carrier, according to the airline.
