Democrat Kim Ahern secured 64% of the vote to defeat Republican challenger Alan Gordon in the race for Rhode Island Attorney General. WPRI projected the victory on November 4, shortly after polls closed across the state. Ahern brings nine years of experience as a state prosecutor and former gubernatorial aide to the office.
