Microsoft and Lightstorm to Build New Undersea Cable

A consortium including Microsoft and Lightstorm plans to construct a 3,600 km undersea cable connecting India with Malaysia and Singapore by late 2029. The project aims to support growing AI and cloud infrastructure demands across one of the world's fastest-growing data markets.
