Google and RWE back Proxima Fusion in 411 million euro round

Munich-based startup Proxima Fusion has raised 411 million euros in a funding round led by XTX Ventures and East X Ventures. The investment brings the company valuation to 2.4 billion euros and includes a partnership with RWE to build a stellarator fusion power plant in Bavaria.
