Eric Green, the long-standing leader of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., has announced his intention to retire as Chief Executive Officer. The transition is slated for the second half of 2026, marking the conclusion of an 11-year tenure for Green at the helm of the United States-based manufacturer.
The company has engaged an executive search firm to identify a successor to lead the organization. Green, who assumed the CEO role in 2015 and was appointed board chair in 2022, stated that his retirement will allow him to pursue future board and advisory positions. Reflecting on his time with the firm, Green noted the significance of the upcoming leadership change.
