ECOWAS Backs Nigeria-Morocco Atlantic Gas Pipeline Deal

Member states of ECOWAS signed an intergovernmental agreement in Freetown to support the 6,900-kilometer pipeline project. The $25 billion initiative aims to transport 30 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Nigeria to Morocco and European markets.
