Vietnam recommends work from home to conserve fuel supplies

Vietnam has officially called on local businesses to facilitate work-from-home arrangements for their staff to mitigate a deepening fuel crisis. The Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the recommendation on Tuesday as the country faces significant supply disruptions and sharp price increases resulting from the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
As a nation heavily dependent on energy imports from the Middle East, the Vietnamese government reported that it has been among the hardest-hit economies since the outbreak of the war. The volatility in global energy markets, reflected in the pricing of Brent Crude Oil, has led to a domestic supply crunch that the government is now scrambling to manage.
