Vance criticized El-Sayed over remarks targeting his wife, second lady Usha Vance. The rally comes as candidates campaign across the United States ahead of the November midterm elections.
Vance condemned El-Sayed's podcast comments regarding his marriage to an Indian American woman. U.S. Senate candidate Mike Rogers and other Republican officials joined the event to denounce the remarks.
