Verizon raises profit outlook and signs Google fiber deal
Verizon increased its annual profit forecast and announced a 1 billion dollar agreement to provide Google with dark fiber connectivity for data centers. The company also beat quarterly wireless subscriber estimates as new simplified mobile plans helped drive customer additions.
