VERIZON COMMUNICATIONS INC signed a multi-billion-dollar supply deal with CORNING INC on Tuesday morning to secure over 80 million miles of high-density optical fiber. The agreement spans from 2027 through 2032 to expand broadband access. The multi-year pact builds on a three-decade partnership between the two companies. It provides the low-latency network infrastructure required by AI hyperscalers.
