The analytics firm reported adjusted earnings of $1.82 per share on revenue of $783 million. Strong demand for underwriting and claims tools drove the growth.
VERISK ANALYTICS INC reported first-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.82, beating LSEG estimates of $1.74. Revenue rose 3.9% to $783 million, exceeding the $771.4 million forecast as demand for insurance analytics remained resilient. The results suggest proprietary data moats are protecting the firm from AI disruption fears despite a 21% year-to-date share price decline.
### Pricing Power Drives Revenue Gains Underwriting revenue increased 3.8% during the quarter, while claims revenue climbed 4.3%. Growth was led by stronger pricing for anti-fraud analytics products in the United States. Insurers are maintaining demand for risk-assessment tools to navigate inflationary pressures linked to the conflict between Israel and Iran.
