The government of Uzbekistan has announced plans to divest a 30% stake in its National Investment Fund (UzNIF) through dual initial public offerings (IPOs) scheduled for May. The listings will take place on both the Tashkent Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange in the United Kingdom, marking a historic milestone as the first time a state-backed entity from the Central Asian nation has accessed global capital markets.
