Judge blocks postal service mail in voting rule
A federal judge temporarily blocked a postal service rule tightening mail in voting requirements. The order pauses changes ordered by President Trump as legal challenges proceed.

A federal judge on Thursday afternoon blocked the U.S. Postal Service from implementing core parts of a new mail-in voting rule ahead of the November congressional elections. The temporary restraining order follows a Supreme Court ruling on Monday that lifted earlier injunctions against the restrictions. Democratic-led states and voting rights groups quickly challenged the rule, which took effect on Wednesday.
