United States energy companies expect 2026 to mark a second consecutive year of record Natural Gas production, driven by surging global demand for liquefied natural gas exports and data-center power. Production is on track to rise from 107.6 billion cubic feet per day in 2025 to 112.2 billion cubic feet per day in 2026, according to Energy Information Administration data. The output expansion positions domestic producers to capture rising global energy needs while maintaining flat or lower capital expenditures.
