The delegation joined President Trump as he claimed potential orders for 200 jets and 400–450 engines. These high-level talks sought to unlock regulatory approvals and reverse a multi-year decline in bilateral trade deals.
Executives from GE Aerospace, Qualcomm Inc, Visa Inc, and Cargill held talks with commerce and securities officials. These meetings occurred Friday and Saturday following a state banquet. The group aimed to leverage political goodwill to resolve long-standing bureaucratic hurdles.
