United States 30-year Treasury yields fell 10 basis points to 5.187% on Wednesday afternoon after the Treasury Department doubled liquidity support operations. The drop follows a peak of 5.337% on Tuesday, which marked the highest level since 2007 amid persistent inflation concerns. The intervention aims to calm long-term borrowing costs following a global debt selloff driven by geopolitical tensions involving Iran .
