UK Food Inflation to Top 6 Percent

British food price inflation is forecast to reach nearly 4 percent by the end of the year and peak above 6 percent by mid-2027. Persistent cost pressures including energy and extreme weather are driving the sustained increases according to the Food and Drink Federation.
