TOTALENERGIES SE will cut diesel prices to €2.15 ($2.40) a litre across France on Saturday, undercutting national averages by 9%. The move precedes a government release of strategic fuel reserves aimed at quelling nationwide protests over soaring living costs. High fuel prices have triggered widespread demonstrations across the country this month, putting mounting pressure on energy suppliers.
