Thailand Seeks US Trade Talks
Thailand has proposed a meeting between Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and U.S. President Donald Trump to conclude trade negotiations and discuss tariff rates. The commerce minister expects the talks to occur during the U.N. General Assembly in New York.

Thailand proposed a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and United States President Donald Trump this week to finalize trade talks. The diplomatic push comes as Bangkok seeks to secure competitive tariff rates on par with regional rivals. Washington remains Bangkok's largest export market, taking 24% of total exports so far this year.
