The government of Thailand has not yet reached a final decision regarding a potential increase to its internal public debt ceiling, according to Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas. Speaking on Wednesday, Nitithanprapas, who also serves as the deputy prime minister, clarified that the current 70% public debt-to-GDP ratio remains an internal benchmark.
