The Bank of Thailand THTH monetary policy committee voted 4-2 on Wednesday to cut the one-day repurchase rate by 25 basis points to 1.00 percent. This decision, made during the first policy review of the year by the Bank of Thailand (BOT), was taken to provide further support to the economy as it faces mounting pressure from uncertainty regarding tariffs from the United States USUS and a persistently strong baht.
