Ten Minnesota Residents Indicted for Voter Fraud
Federal officials announced indictments against ten lawful permanent residents in Minnesota for voter fraud. The defendants are accused of falsely claiming citizenship or voting illegally in recent elections. The Department of Justice and Homeland Security are investigating the cases.
A federal grand jury indicted 10 lawful permanent residents in United States on voter fraud charges, officials said Wednesday afternoon. The defendants face felony counts for making false claims of citizenship and misdemeanor charges for voting as non-citizens.
The indictments stem from alleged illegal voting across elections spanning from 2022 through an August primary. United States Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the charges alongside Department of Homeland Security officials, noting that all 10 individuals have made initial court appearances.
