TC Energy and LNG Canada advance pipeline expansion

TC Energy Corporation has finalized commercial agreements with LNG Canada to progress the second phase of the Coastal GasLink pipeline project. This development marks a significant step forward for the expansion, which aims to double the natural gas transmission capacity of the existing pipeline network in Canada. While these agreements establish a framework for front-end engineering, design, and project execution, the expansion still requires a final investment decision from LNG Canada and its joint venture partners, as well as formal approvals from Coastal GasLink.
