Pegatron and GlobalWafers report stable supply chains
Taiwanese tech firms Pegatron and GlobalWafers report no immediate impact from Middle East hostilities. GlobalWafers has secured years of helium supplies.
Two of the most prominent technology firms in Taiwan have reported that the escalating conflict in the Middle East has not yet disrupted their operations or the broader semiconductor supply chain. Despite the geopolitical tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, these companies are maintaining stable production while monitoring potential long-term risks to energy and raw material logistics.
Pegatron, a major electronics manufacturer that serves as a key supplier for Apple Inc., Microsoft Corporation, and Tesla, Inc., confirmed that the hostilities have had no immediate impact on its business. However, during a recent earnings call, Pegatron President and co-CEO Johnson Teng expressed caution regarding the future of global oil supplies, noting that a significant portion of crude oil is sourced from the Middle East.
