Stripe and Advent Propose 53 Billion Dollar PayPal Buyout
Stripe and Advent International have submitted a joint proposal to acquire PayPal for 60.50 dollars per share in a deal backed by 50 billion dollars in financing. The offer represents a 28 percent premium and comes as PayPal undergoes a turnaround effort to combat slowing growth and rising competition.
