Stoelzle Glass Lays Off 200 for Plant Upgrade
Stoelzle Glass USA has temporarily laid off two hundred workers at its Monaca plant to complete a major renovation project. The facility is undergoing a one hundred million dollar upgrade to expand capacity and improve efficiency.
Stoelzle Glass USA has temporarily laid off 200 workers at its Monaca plant in the United States to execute a $100M modernization project. The workforce reduction affects about half of the facility's employees during the upgrade. Production is scheduled to resume by February upon completion of the renovations.
