STMicro CFO sees optics driving 80 percent of 2027 AI

STMicroelectronics expects four-fifths of its two billion dollar AI revenue target for 2027 to come from fibre-optic data links. Cooling systems and power conversion will provide the remaining share, with server power revenue expected later.
