Star Entertainment signs 390 million refinancing deal
Star Entertainment secured a 390 million dollar refinancing deal with WhiteHawk Capital. The three-year facility will refinance existing debt by May 15.
Star Entertainment has secured a binding commitment for a $390 million refinancing package with funds managed by WhiteHawk Capital Partners. The casino operator, based in Australia, announced that the three-year facility is intended to fully refinance its existing group debt while providing incremental liquidity to support standard business operations.

The refinancing remains subject to several customary conditions, including the finalization of long-form finance documentation and the receipt of necessary regulatory approvals. Star Entertainment is working to complete the process by May 15 to satisfy the requirements of a waiver granted by its senior lenders on February 27.
This announcement follows an in-principle agreement with WhiteHawk Capital Partners reached in late February. During its first-half results disclosure, the company confirmed it had obtained a waiver for financial compliance under its loan facility agreement through December 31, 2025. To maintain the terms of this waiver and avoid a potential default, the company was required to deliver a refinancing commitment letter by March 31 and execute the final agreement by the mid-May deadline.
