Spire Healthcare Enters Early Stage Talks With Buyout Firms for Potential Sale
Spire Healthcare is in early-stage talks with buyout firms like Bridgepoint and Triton Partners. The board aims to progress discussions over the coming weeks.
Insights:
Spire Healthcare Group plc has confirmed it is engaging in early-stage discussions with several buyout firms, including Bridgepoint and Triton Partners, as the company explores strategic options that could lead to it being taken private. These developments follow an announcement made by the United Kingdom
GBbased hospital operator in September 2025 that it had initiated a strategic review to evaluate its future, including the possibility of a sale.
Financial advisor Rothschild is currently managing the process for Spire Healthcare Group plc. While Bridgepoint and Triton Partners are actively involved in the talks, other private equity firms including Advent International and Bain Capital have also contacted Rothschild. However, Advent International and Bain Capital are not currently expected to advance further in the process.
