Spanish airport operator Aena beats expectations as annual profit climbs to over two billion euros
Spanish airport operator Aena saw net profit rise 10.5 percent in 2025 following record passenger numbers. The result beat analyst expectations for the year.
Aena announced on February 25, 2026, that its full-year net profit for 2025 increased by 10.5% to reach €2.13 billion. The company reported that this financial growth was driven by record passenger traffic, which totaled 321.6 million across its network during the year.
The 2025 figures represent an average of more than one million passengers per day, marking the third consecutive annual record for passenger traffic at Aena's airports. This performance underscores a clear correlation between the high volume of travelers and the company's robust financial results.
