The S&P 500 rose 12.45 points to 7,689.22 and the Nasdaq Composite added 98.08 points to 26,267.46 Tuesday morning as easing oil prices supported risk appetite. The advance comes ahead of the United States Federal Reserve's policy decision this week and a fresh wave of corporate earnings. Markets are pricing in at least two more rate hikes by mid-2027 as inflation indicators remain elevated amid the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran.
