### GDP Growth Expected to Cool Economists polled by Reuters forecast GDP growth of 0.3% quarter-on-quarter, a slight decline from 0.4% in the final quarter of 2025. On a year-on-year basis, the economy is expected to expand 1.8%. Statistics South Africa is scheduled to release the official figures morning June 9.
