Shriram Finance Profit Jumps 60% as Funding Costs Ease

The Indian non-bank lender reported a standalone profit of 34.45 billion rupees for the June quarter as net interest margins expanded to 9.04 percent. Managing Director Parag Sharma expects incremental funding costs to drop by 50 to 60 basis points following recent domestic credit rating upgrades.
