The warehouse landlord maintained stable occupancy at 94.8 percent despite geopolitical tensions. New leasing momentum remains strong across the London portfolio.
The industrial property sector in the United Kingdom continues to show resilience as major warehouse landlord Segro reported a strong start to the fiscal year. The company announced that it secured 23 million pounds, equivalent to approximately $31.03 million, in new headline rent during the first quarter. This growth comes as the firm continues to prioritize and advance its strategic focus on data centre developments.
Operational metrics remained robust through the period ending March 31. Segro maintained a stable occupancy rate of 94.8%, supported by a reduction in vacancies across its extensive London portfolio. Furthermore, the company achieved a customer retention rate of 83%, highlighting the sustained demand for high-quality logistics and industrial space.
