Saskatchewan Sets US Alcohol Tariff
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe announced a fifty percent tariff on American alcohol starting September eighth. The retaliatory measure follows new United States tariffs on Canadian goods and supports federal trade actions.

Canada's Saskatchewan province will impose a 50% tariff on American alcohol beginning September 8, deepening trade tensions with the United States. The provincial levy follows federal retaliatory measures targeting $20B in U.S. goods. Saskatchewan remains one of only two Canadian provinces that still permit sales of U.S. wine, beer, and spirits.
