Saipem reports strong fourth quarter growth and expects higher profits in 2026
The Italian energy contractor beat analyst expectations with a 515 million euro core profit. The company expects further earnings growth throughout 2026.
Saipem, a company based in Italy
IT, reported on Tuesday that its adjusted core profit for the fourth quarter of 2025 rose nearly 22 percent year-on-year to 515 million euros. This result surpassed the 482 million euro consensus estimate compiled by LSEG analysts, signaling a stronger-than-expected conclusion to the company's fiscal year.
The company also announced its financial expectations for 2026, stating it anticipates adjusted core earnings of approximately 1.9 billion euros. This projection marks an increase from the 1.72 billion euros in adjusted core earnings reported for the full year of 2025. The combination of the fourth-quarter performance and the higher annual earnings expectation indicates a shift in the company's reported financial performance and stated outlook.
