BANCO DE SABADELL SA cut its 2026 lending income growth forecast to 1% on Thursday morning as rising interest rates drive up deposit costs in Spain. The country's fourth-largest lender by market value posted a Q3 underlying profit rise of 18% year-on-year to €405M, topping analyst forecasts of €375M. Profitability margins face renewed pressure as funding expenses accelerate across the domestic banking sector.
