SpaceX Faces S&P 500 Delay as Index Rules Stay Firm

S&P Dow Jones Indices has declined to relax its requirements for megacap IPOs, meaning SpaceX will not be eligible for the S&P 500 until at least June 2027. The aerospace firm currently lacks the necessary profitability and 10% free float required for inclusion in the major benchmark index.
