Rwanda raised roughly $190 million through a 15-year World Bank Group-backed loan, borrowing in Japan's currency for the first time. The financing package diversifies the government's debt structure ahead of upcoming bond maturities. Roughly half of the borrowing is denominated in yen, with the remainder in euros.
