Russia Warns European Arms Plants Are Targets
Russia stated that European factories producing weapons for Ukraine are legitimate military targets. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said European nations are directly involved in the conflict.
Russia warned that European arms manufacturing plants supplying Ukraine are legitimate military targets, escalating tensions on Wednesday afternoon. The statement follows discussions regarding Poland potentially hosting a facility to produce Patriot interceptor missiles. The warning highlights growing friction between Moscow and Western nations over military production lines supporting Kyiv.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a midday briefing that European nations are direct participants in the conflict rather than passive observers. Zakharova stated that joint ventures and weapons production facilities outside Ukrainian borders will not be spared from military action.
