Russia launched overnight drone and missile strikes cutting power across the Odesa region while attacks on Ukraine's capital entered a seventh consecutive day on Wednesday. The latest wave of aerial assaults left eight people injured in Odesa and damaged a 24-storey residential building. The escalation follows President Vladimir Putin's warning that Moscow's forces are intensifying strikes against critical energy infrastructure.
